Granddad Steve the Wargamer...

I'm a grand dad...  meet Oscar the Wargamer ...

Fairly convinced he's clutching a D6 in each fist.... either that or he's about to take on the photographer...

  2. Congrats - what wonderful news.

I suspect young master Oscar has adopted his standard "rules dispute" pose. I know that after seeing his stance, I would always agree with his rule interpretation!

I hope everyone's doing well and you're made very detailed plans on how you shall spoil the young lad.

  4. Well done that man...well granddad at least. Methinks the pose may well be the age old dismay at matt varnish leaving a white powder on freshly painted troops. At least that's what I look like , though no where near as distinguished as young Oscar!

  8. Congratulations. Being a grand-dad is a very good job, much easier than parent. That's what my parents told me
    ;)

  20. Lovely chap - and what a strange feeling to be a granddad, I'm guessing.

Forgive me for changing the subject, but I would like to use one of your photos of the Zvezda Sdkfz 251 on my blog. Would that be OK?

    Cheers, Keith.

  23. Ladies/Gents - too many of you to thank individually, so a general "thanks" for your kind wishes... he continues to thrive, and has the most amazing range of facial expressions I've ever seen, including an excellent Winston Churchill...

By the way - just to show that I'm wargamer to the core, you'll be delighted to know that on the way back from the delivery suite at the hospital to my car I spotted a bin full to the brim with offcuts of plastic card... there was far less in there when I left that when I arrived...! :o))

  24. Congrats from me as well.

Sorry to hijack these comments, but I wanted your permission to use one of your photos of the Zvezda Sdkfz 251 from an earlier post on my own blog. Would this be OK?

    Keith.
