    1. A.W. Kitchen - bravo!! That's 1/5 Graham Street which in the later days was where they had their manufacturing, and factory shop.... I remember going their a number of times in the old days... the AWI wagons you sometimes see in the games were bought one one trip... and a number of the 15mm WSS regiments were bought, newly cast, over the counter... now sadly knocked down and replaced with a fairly nasty pair of houses... there should be a blue plaque at least! ;o)

  6. That postcode sounded so familiar, must be embedded somewhere in the back of my brain!

Fantastic figures, I still browse the old catalog on Henry Hides link now and then

so much choice in every range. I remember having this one from the cover, used to buy all of my Minifigs from Bill Brewer at 'Rye Stamp and Hobby Shop', in SE London, and what that man could do with a Minifig and a paintbrush was amazing.

    Thank you Steve :)

  7. I picked up a Minifigs catalogue up the other day (which I'll probably end up selling). It's nice to be able to put a pick to the address!

    1. Edward- thanks for the comment- glad to be of help...

All - it seems the company resided in a number of locations in that part of Southampton.. I think Graham Road was the last before they went to the new owners (see here: http://steve-the-wargamer.blogspot.co.uk/2008/12/i-have-been-to-minifigs-uk.html) in about 2004'ish (???) They are also listed as being at Northam Road (which is not far away).

  8. My Minifigs came from White Plains New York from the shirtlived Minifigs USA. The catalogue pages had magical photos of unidentified S Range figures, just the thing young men's dreams were msde of but OH so frustrating trying to figure out which code matched the figures. Since it took 4 - 6 weeks to send off a money order and get a parcel back through customs I rarely sent for just samples I was a year or so too late though as the S range were rapidly being replaced by the chubby new ones which I didn't like as much. Enter Garrison!
