AWI re-basing project - redux..

Crack on, crack on...

Apologies for the quality of these poor pictures - camera phone - but another 24 bases completed - this time British/Hessians..

Serried ranks of Minifigs wonderful'ness....

From this point forwards we are getting into newer troops that I may have savaged with a paint brush myself - being newer it may be a quicker job to touch up the base rather than complete replacement - we shall see...

    1. Ta Neil - not the most riveting of posts but it's part and parcel of the hobby... and I remember reading in an old Don Featherstone book/Wargamers Newsletter how he'd painted an entire army of Austrians while watching the Olympics - and that was how these got done! :o)

  2. Lovely to see the Minifigs being tarted up Steve, they have now acquired a true 'collectors'status, I always liked them. Takes me back to my regular visits to Rye Stamp and Hobby Shop in Peckham where Bill Brewer had hundreds of painted examples on display and I used to buy mine.

    3. Steve, that catalogue really brings back memories, I used to love browsing through it. It's staggering the sheer number of ranges and how complete each one is, Lord alone knows how many 25mm Minifigs I must have painted and sold over the years. I certainly did ECW, Napoleonic and ACW, all bought from Bill Brewer in his tiny little SE London shop ..... wish I still had them.
