Being an account of my wargaming activities, a few sailing stories, some beer related anecdotes, what music I'm listening to.... oh, and anything else that knows me!
Jonathan - enough for two regiments of foot - I don't have a lead pile, I buy what I need, paint it, and then buy some more.. also I've not seen these in the flesh so there's an element of "what are they like"? Also this is going to be a multi source project.. the next order will probably be to SHQ and of the same size so I can compare and contrast...
Steve - I think I said this before somewhere - for when you are ready to start the cavalry - if I recall correctly, TD sell you cavalry riders and horses separately. It takes a little fettling, but putting the TD riders on SHQ horses works well, and makes the cavalry of the two makes more compatible - imho it's the difference in the horse sizes that's the main problem with SHQ vs TD. You're probably bored with photos of my daft troops, but I can send you pics of these hybrid units if it's useful.
uh oh!
ReplyDeleteRay - the deed is done...
DeleteSuch a measured response! You call that an order?
