A new beginning??

...or "what has he gone and done now??!"  Only time will tell....

Separately - with the time freed up by reduced time on Facebook (tick) I have reviewed/overhauled and extensively updated the following:
  • The English Civil War Project page (though the above may mean further changes are required)
  • The Second World War Project page
  • The Sudan Project Page
...I have also bitten the bullet and admitted I have a "lead stash" and with that safely off my chest it was only right and proper that I then organised it....  job done!

...it's not all of it, as I have a separate small box containing Marlburian, but I suspect it is small compared to most of my fellow bloggerati....

  1. Not bad really, depending of course on what size those plastic boxes are!

    1. Stryker - shoe boxes... :o)) PS. Not really - I think they are one up from the smallest, so 0.14 litres... https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/really-useful-clear-box-014-litres/571343-1002 ...the bigger one's are the next one up again...

  2. Naughty naughty Steve, get some of that leadpile painted! Of course I wouldn't do such a thing.

    1. Raymond - damn right I will - the Peter Pig have arrived by the way - soon as I get a moment I'll undercoat the first regiment and paint them up as the same regiment I already did in 20mm - I have a good feeling about these figures, and I'm feeling the love, so fingers crossed the project comes back from the grave..

    1. Jonathan - new year, rebooted project.. I hope... I wasn't feeling the love for the 20's I'd decided on when I originally started the project, so I've decided to switch tack on the project scale.. we shall see...

  4. Ah, I know the feeling. . . There must be some axiom of physics somewhere on how, regardless of how many painted units we manage to churn out, the leadpile somehow increases exponentially. Kind of the inverse of one of a pair of socks disappearing in the dryer.

    Best Regards,

    1. Stokes - too true.. though to be fair, my stash is pretty small compared to some... most of those boxes only have half a dozen figures in them... :o)

  6. All very neat and tidy Steve! I'm really glad to see you bite the bullet and go for the Peter Pig ECW's, I'm sure you will fly with these as they just cry out to be painted. Good selection of codes to get started with too.

    1. I agree Lee - their 15mm stuff is brilliant and paints up really well.

    2. Cheers Lee and JBM - I have a long history with Peter Pig - I guess all these things are personal taste and all that, but I like the figure style, but most of all I like their faces - no idea how Martin manages to get so much facial character into such a small figure...
