An "army" review - ECW progress so far..

One step at a time but I am quietly pleased with the progress so far..   all of these painted this year.

Parliament top, Royalist bottom...

Are those Royalists in a Swedish formation??

Pleased with the appearance and effect..

Onwards and upwards...!

  1. Looking very good there Steve. I'll send you over pics of the completed horse figures today - don't know where that week went! Went with blue for the second unit has you had already added a green coated unit :)

  2. Nice choice (as would any other to be honest! :o) ) Sir Henry Cholmley's are on the painting table as we speak - blue coats, but have gone with a different ink to the one I normally use - much lighter.. looks OK so far

    1. Morning CK.. a bit more painting to do yet.. I envision about a dozen units a side for critical mass (something the same size as the Marlburian project)... and then a brigade level set of rules I'll modify myself from the Marlburian one's I use, added 'flavoured' based on the research/reading..

    1. B'jour JBM.. oh yes, I'm not fan of two units make an army (hence the "''s" around army in the blog post.. hoping to get to a critical mass of a about a dozen a side, then I can add units at leisure over time..
