ALLEZ LE BLEUS!!

Hell yes....

So often the other way round as someone else sneaks the last minute win.. this time it was my team... and against England as well...

Now.. if Scotland can do the same tomorrow I'll go back to work happy...

All together now...

Allons enfants de la Patrie,
Le jour de gloire est arrivé !
Contre nous de la tyrannie,
L'étendard sanglant est levé....  etc  etc

    1. Sebastien, it was a good game - they dominated the first half for little return, they came back after half time but were sluggish for 35 odd minutes and let England back in, and at the point in time when England usually sneak the last try, they did... superb... :o)

    1. Gary - bit like someone from Plymouth supporting Man Utd.? :o)) To be fair I have supported them for 20 (25?) odd years now... I like their style of rugby, and the mercurial nature of their play - they like to throw the ball round, and it feels like two, three, or even four different teams can play in the same game some times based on their play!

  5. Lancaster made two mistakes in coaching that game. Taking Care off with a quarter to go and replacing Hartley with Youngs. Dixon was no substitute for the man who led the fight back and Youngs fluffed a crucial lineout.
It was a terrific game and both teams deserved to win.

    1. Paul - agreed... it's a feature of the modern game that they seem to make massive numbers of substitutions in the last minutes of the game but it seems to ruin the team dynamics, and the team that can overcome those often scores the sneaky last try... Clive Woodward did a piece for the BBC that was quite good, but in summary, he was asking if a player can't play the full game what's going on??
