I give in... ๐
So first we had these, which I spotted back in 2010 on John Moher's page....
...and now I spotted these during Curt's Analog Hobbies Painting Challenge this year..
Painted by the supremely talented Dave Docherty [clicky]
Figures ordered... also some Indian infantry... ๐
I only hope I can do a quarter of the justice to mine that these guys have done to theirs!

A very sensible order! They've done some superb work on 15mm - thought they were 28s!
ReplyDeleteLegatus - enough's enough indeed.. make no mistake though - mine may be 15's but those beautiful samples above are 25's... Dave's are the superlative Connoisseur range I think..
DeleteOne of the most iconic of all regiments - the Bengal Lancers. I fondly remember "bodging" the old Airfix kit as a youngster.
ReplyDeletePaul - I remember that kit, and also the Hussar, endless snipping and cutting plastic sheet for the reins... gah.... :o)) Do you remember Ann Boleyn, Charles I and the others as well??
DeleteA very tempting unit for the brush, for sure!
ReplyDeleteJonathan - all I hope is that they don't end up looking like a dogs dinner...!
DeleteVery nice figures and painted well - like legatus i thought they were 28mm too.
ReplyDeleteDannoc - they are - but still superb for all that...
DeleteOnly 6 days into the year well done that's dedication to the cause.
ReplyDeleteRay - last year was a poor wargaming year on the results front... this year will be different...
DeleteThese are phenomenal. Makes me want to pick up Churchill's "River War" again!
ReplyDeleteCincinnatus - an excellent idea... or "Young Winston" from the DVD rack!
